Todrick Hall Calls Out Wedding Venue That Doesn’t Accept Gay Couple: ‘This Is Not Acceptable It’s 2021’
Ru Paul’s Drag Race star and Youtuber, Todrick Hall, is speaking out on the Nashville wedding venue that turned away a gay couple, Mike Gill and Coty Heaton. According to reports the 36-year-old said,
“Don’t give it any business, and keep fighting injustices … because it’s working.“

The wedding venue in question is Barn in the Bend and its owner allegedly refused to accept the couple because of religious differences. Todrick went on to express his opinion on the owner’s discriminatory actions. He said,
“I hope that people reach out to this company and hold them accountable and let them know that even people in their own community don’t f**k with this. This is not OK, this is not acceptable – it’s 2021.
He went on to say that businesses should not impose their personal beliefs on their customers.
“If someone’s getting married, it’s not your job to dictate whether or not you think that their marriage should be legal. Let them get married.

Todrick Hall urged the couple to take their business where they are appreciated and that they do not have to stand for injustice. The overall message of what Todrick said was that it’s unacceptable at this point to deal with homophobia and there are so many other places where you won’t have to. He hopes the couple finds a more accepting venue to carry out their nuptials and says,
“I hope someone reaches out to you so you can have an amazing wedding where you and your family and friends feel welcome.“
