Khloé Kardashian Says She Corrects People Who Comment That Her Daughter True Thompson Is ‘Big’ When They Mean To Call Her Tall: I Don’t Want Her To Misinterpret That
Khloé Kardashian is serious about reinforcing positivity when it comes to her daughter, True Thompson!
Recently, Khloé Kardashian opened up about what she does to help keep the damaging effects of insecurity away from True Thompson, her young daughter. Khloé Kardashian revealed that one thing she does is correct adults who remark that her three-year-old daughter is “big.” Khloé Kardashian says that, because she and Tristan Thompson are respectively 5’10” and 6’9″, True Thompson is also fairly tall for her age. As a result, many well-meaning adults will see True and comment
“She’s so big!”
However, Khloé is sure to correct them by being more descriptive, oftentimes responding:
“Oh, she’s so tall.”
Khloé Kardashian says that being more descriptive helps reinforce that the comment is not at all negative:
“I try to make them be more descriptive. I know what an adult means when they say that, but I don’t want her to misinterpret that.”

Notably, she also dished on how media scrutiny about her own size led Khloé to take this stance:
“When it comes to food–I had so many issues. It wasn’t from one person, I guess just from society or how people critiqued my body. So, I don’t play when it comes to True.”
These comments come about six months after Khloé Kardashian addressed some of the negative things she’s heard of herself over the years:
“‘Khloé is the fat sister.’ ‘Khloé is the ugly sister.’ ‘Her dad must not be her real dad because she looks so different.’ ‘The only way she could have lost that weight must have been from surgery.’ You never quite get used to being judged and pulled apart and told how unattractive one is, but I will say if you hear anything enough then you will start to believe it. This is how I have been conditioned to feel, that I am not beautiful enough just being me.”
