Rihanna fans will recall that the singer-turned-entrepreneur, who recently became a billionaire, has not released an album since 2016’s ANTI. The album garnered a number of well-received hits–such as “Work,” “Sex With Me,” and “Kiss It Better.”
It should also be noted that the singer has been featured on a few singles since ANTI, including “Lemon” by N.E.R.D.
This news comes less than two months after Rihanna made some interesting comments about the subject of future music. Ahead of her recent fashion show–Savage x Fenty Show Vol. 3–the 33-year-old stated:
“You’re not going to expect what you hear. Just put that in your mind.”
Rihanna added:
“Whatever you know of Rihanna is not going to be what you hear. I’m really experimenting. Music is like fashion. You should be able to play. I should be able to wear whatever I want. I treat music the same way. So I’m having fun and it’s going to be completely different.”

Despite her comments, it should be noted that it’s currently unclear when–or if–Rihanna will release another album in the future.
