EXCLUSIVE: Chris Brown In Talks To Sign With Quality Control Music
It looks like Quality Control Music will be adding another star to their A-list roster!
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports that Chris Brown is allegedly taking his talents to Quality Control Music. According to our sources, the 32-year-old is in talks to sign a new deal with Quality Control Music record label, which was founded by Kevin “Coach K” Lee and Pierre “P” Thomas in 2013.
Chris Brown has been signed to a few notable record labels within his career so far. At age 13 he was reportedly discovered by Hitmission Records. In 2004 he inked a deal with Jive Records. However, in 2011, RCA Music Group announced it was disbanding Jive Records. This meant that moving forward, Chris Brown’s projects would be released on the RCA Records brand.
In 2019 Brown, who was 29 at the time, made headlines after signing a historic deal with RCA Records. According to reports, the extension and new license agreement with RCA allowed Brown to own all of his masters, which made him one of the youngest artists ever to be signed to a major label with that benefit. RCA previously released a statement about its partnership with Brown and said,
“This new deal structure between Brown and RCA Records, will undoubtedly enhance the release of new Chris Brown music, content, and much more throughout 2019 and beyond.”
It’s unclear what Chris Brown was able to negotiate regarding his alleged deal with Quality Control Music. However, the ‘Run It’ singer will definitely be in good company over at the famed record label. Quality Control Music has a lot of big named artists within its lineup, including; Migos, Lil Yachty, Lil Baby, Lakeyah, Layton Greene, and City Girls. According to reports, the label also has Cardi B signed under a management deal.
Brown will definitely be a great addition to the Quality Control Music team. He recently showed off his talents over the weekend while performing at Rolling Loud.
