Drake Cut From Kanye West’s ‘Free Larry Hoover’ Concert In New Amazon Prime Edit
Kanye West’s Larry Hoover benefit concert was one for the books–but Drake’s name probably won’t appear in those books.
Lauded rapper Kanye West recently held the event of the year with special guest Drake, who performed a 12-song set. Their “Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert” originally streamed live on Prime Video Twitch, running for approximately 2 hours. Yet, Drake is hardly present for the Amazon Prime Video edit.

The concert has mysteriously gone from 2 hours to 24 minutes with only an entrance and exit from Drake. His “Forever” duet with Kanye was included; however, that’s just about all the Certified Lover Boy you’ll get in Amazon’s new shaved-down version of the show.
Amazon hasn’t responded to questions about Drake’s disappearance.

Drake’s absence comes a few weeks after he reportedly removed himself from the 2022 Grammy’s. The Canadian rap star was said to have 2 nominations for his successful album released earlier this year, but he allegedly backed out of the awards show.
Not too long before the Grammy’s report, he pulled his highly-anticipated collaboration with fellow rapper French Montana. Drake was set to appear on a track titled “Splash Brothers,” which was recorded for French Montana’s album They Got Amnesia. According to multiple sources, he chose to release the song at a later date out of respect for the Astroworld tragedy victims.

Back in Nov., Drake performed alongside Travis Scott at the fatal Astroworld festival. He was named in several lawsuits involving the catastrophe, which are said to total billions of dollars. Some people are demanding that both Travis Scott and Drake take responsibility for the 10 concert attendees who died, as well as the hundreds more who suffered.

In addition to the Astroworld lawsuits, Drake is being sued for defamation by a woman who allegedly broke into his home in 2017. Drake reportedly wants the suit to be tossed out; however, the woman wants to proceed and hasn’t been cooperative.
