Pete Davidson Hires Security Amid Kanye Rap Diss: He’s Not Worried About Kanye, But Is Concerned About His Fanbase

Kanye West’s comments about Pete Davidson have the comedian thinking twice about hiring security.

Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson no longer leaves home without a security guard, Radar Online says. Thanks to Kanye West’s allegedly alarming behavior toward his estranged wife’s (Kim Kardashian) new beau, Pete felt the need to get some protection. A source close to Pete reportedly told Radar Online:

“Pete isn’t worried about Kanye, but he is concerned about the massive fanbase that Kanye has. His devoted followers listen to his songs and act upon them. That’s why Pete is now using security.”

They continued:

“Until recently Pete never had security with him when he was out and about, even when he was engaged to Ariana Grande. But dating Kim (Kardashian) is a totally different level of fame. Pete is now a superstar, which comes with a price. As much as he still wants to be low-key and hang with his friends, the reality of his situation has changed.”

The source concluded:

“Pete isn’t taking any chances. Whenever he is out with Kim, they use her security. But now Pete needs his own security when he is out alone. He is still Pete, but now Pete comes with a 6’1, 220 lbs security guard.”

Pete’s decision to beef up security comes after one of Kanye’s tracks with fellow rapper The Game leaked. The multi-talented musician allegedly rapped:

“God saved me from that crash/ just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a**.”

During a recent interview, Kanye claimed that security stopped him from coming inside the Kardashian residence because Pete was there. The incident led to a confrontation between his two female cousins and Kim Kardashian. Clearly unsettled by the entire debacle–which began with his 9-year-old daughter wanting him to see something inside the home–Kanye stated:

“So for us (he and Kim) to be cordial and civil, there are certain things that are not finna be done and be done under the rug.”

In addition to his clear jabs towards Pete, Kanye has displayed other erratic behavior. Just a few days ago, he allegedly punched a fan in the face after they requested an autograph. While there is possibly more to the story, Kanye could face consequences.

Kanye also made a rare appearance on Instagram to allege that the Kardashians were trying to prevent him from celebrating his 4-year-old daughter’s birthday. He eventually found his way to the birthday party and was seen enjoying himself. However, he made it clear in his post that he was unhappy with his soon-to-be ex-wife and her family.
