‘Atlanta’ To End With Season 4 On FX, Will Premiere This Fall
It looks like hit show “Atlanta” will be coming to an end!
The announcement was made by FX chairman John Landgraf during an executive session on Thursday (Feb.17). News of the comedy’s fourth and final season comes just one month before season three is set to premiere on FX on March 24. Landgraf had this to say about the upcoming season,
“The fourth and final season is slated to debut in the same manner this fall. The new season is everything you’ve come to expect from ‘Atlanta,’ which is to say, expect the unexpected. Sit back and enjoy the trip.”

Reportedly, the 3rd season marks the first time Atlanta will be available for in-season streaming on Hulu. Landgraf added,
“After a four year absence, we’re graced with the return of Atlanta. Donald Glover and his team have shot the final two seasons of the series.”

‘Atlanta’ is a comedy/drama TV series that first premiered on FX on Sept. 6, 2016 and is executive produced by Donald Glover, Stephen Glover, Hiro Murai, Stefani Robinson, Paul Simms and Dianne McGunigle. The series follows Donald Glover’s, 38, character Earnest “Earn” Marks and rapper Paper Boi, portrayed by Brian Tyree Henry, 39, as they tackle the Atlanta rap scene. It also stars Lakeith Stanfield, 30, and Zazie Beetz, 30, as Darius Epps and Vanessa Keefer.
According to reports, several cast members of “Atlanta” are staying in business with FX beyond the end of the series. Among them, Henry will star in the upcoming series “Class of ’09” at the network, while Hiro Murai–long time director of the series– is executive producing the drama “The Bear” under his overall deal with FX.
