Drake Wins $1 Million In Bitcoin W/ Online Casino, Donates Money To LeBron James Family Foundation
Hitmaking rapper Drake teamed up with Stake.com to donate a whopping $1 million in Bitcoin to the LeBron James Family Foundation.
The Canadian rap star posted an Instagram video that showed his “biggest hit ever” during an online roulette game. In the clip, he stated:
“Anytime I get blessed like that, I always think it’s good karma that needs to be transferred.”
Drake, James, and the e-casino also arranged a dinner for Michael, a high school basketball player, at the Harbour 60 steakhouse. Michael plays for a school called Royal Crown Academy, which happens to be located in Drake’s hometown (Toronto).
In addition to an evening of fine dining, the student-athlete–along with his mother–received $100,000. The “God’s Plan” rhymer described the mother as “hardworking” and mentioned that she works multiple jobs.
The LeBron James Family Foundation was founded in 2004. It aims to change the lives of impoverished families in Akron, Ohio, where James originally resided.
