Drake's Mom Responds to Fake Nicki Minaj Marriage

A few weeks ago, Drake and Nicki Minaj did a 52-fake-out telling twitter-world that they were married. Apparently, Drake’s momma didn’t get the memo about the marriage being a practical joke.

“My mom was actually like, ‘What happened? How did you elope?’ “ Drake, told PEOPLE at the MTV Movie Awards Sunday. “But we were just joking around. I never thought it would get so out of hand…Ironically, I got a ring for myself, so people were like, ‘Aw, you got married, and you have a ring you’re wearing. People still think it’s real. I’ll look at a girl, and she’ll be like, ‘You’re a married man. You shouldn’t look at me that way.'”
