Is Jamie Foxx’s celebrity lookalike Rick Fox?

According to a recent interview, actor and singer Jamie Foxx recalled a time he was once mistaken for fellow actor and former professional basketball player, Rick Fox.

On the premiere episode of the “R&B Money Podcast,”Jamie Foxx, 54, discussed some of his inspirations in music and acting, how he got so good at impressions, and some interesting things about the R&B world.

In the clip teasing the episode, the comedian reminisced on a time he was in a hotel room with a very prominent actress and she was doing cocaine.

He said the mystery woman continued to believe he was Rick Fox, 52, throughout the duration of the night. Foxx recalled the incident and shared,

“I ain’t saying no names, but I was in a hotel room with a very prominent actress and she was doing cocaine. I wasn’t, I wasn’t, I was not doing it. I don’t do that because of my religious beliefs. 

Foxx continued,

“[But] She does the cocaine, she says ‘I’m a bad mother,’ and then she goes, ‘Wow, I didn’t think I would be in this room doing cocaine with Rick Fox.’ She thought I was Rick Fox the whole f*cking night bro. She thought I was Rick Fox I was like, ‘I’m not light skin with good hair like this n*gga.’”

At the end of the clip, the Grammy-award-winning actor detailed what seemingly appears to be how the encounter with the woman initially began. While impersonating her tone, Foxx said the woman got into his limousine thinking it was somebody else’s. However, once she realized she was in the wrong car, she was sure she was with Rick Fox.
