It looks like Pete Davidson got down on one knee and proposed to Kim Kardashian!

According to sources close to the matter, Pete Davidson proposed to Kim Kardashian before she ended their 9-month relationship. The source explained,

“Everything was just moving too fast. Kim wanted to slow things down and instead Pete proposed. He is devastated. Everyone warned him that he was going to push her away, but he didn’t listen. Remember, this is the same guy that proposed to Ariana Grande after just a few weeks. Pete learned nothing from that relationship. He falls hard and he falls fast.”

Insiders say that Kim Kardashian is focused on her four kids and doesn’t want to rush things when it comes to dating.

“Kim is a great mom. She’s fully committed to her kids and any man she meets needs to know that. Pete understood and was fine sharing Kim with her children, but he also wanted to get married yesterday.”

On Friday (Aug. 5), it was announced that Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson ended their relationship after 9 months together. Sources close to the couple told E! News that The Kardashian star and Pete Davidson have broken up and decided to just be friends. The insiders claim that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.

The former couple seemed to be all about each other and appeared to be in love. Last month, Pete Davidson even shared that he was preparing for fatherhood. While chatting with Kevin Hart, 43, for his series “Hart to Heart,” Pete Davidson said,

“My childhood was not great, it was – you know – [my] dad passed early, you know, single mom, [I had a ] new sister. Just like did not handle it great.”

The “Suicide Squad” actor’s father, a New York City firefighter, died in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks when he was just 7 years old.

Pete continued and revealed that despite his tough upbringing, he’s still a “family guy.”

“My family was great the whole time. They were super supportive of me trying stand up – they were like, whatever makes you happy. So [I’m] definitely a family guy. My favorite thing ever, which I have yet to achieve, I wanna have a kid. That’s like my dream. It’s like, super corny.”

Amid the news that the pair split, it didn’t take long before Kanye West stepped in. The Chicago rapper, who was never a fan of the relationship between his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, posted a message targeted at Pete Davidson on Instagram.

According to reports, Kim is demanding that Kanye remove his latest post aimed at Pete Davidson immediately. An insider shared,

“Kim won’t stand for this. She is demanding that Kanye take the post down, but he won’t.”

They continued,

“She has been vigorously defending Pete. She’ll never get back together with Kanye over the way he’s treated the people she loves and respects.”

“She has tried incredibly hard to have a good co-parenting situation for the children.”
