Busta Rhymes Stops Concert To Confront A Fan For Touching Him During His Performance

It looks like Busta Rhymes isn’t too fond of his fans touching him.
During a recent performance, rapper Busta Rhymes, 50, stopped his show and went off on a woman who seemingly kept grabbing him while he was on stage.
In video footage captured by a concertgoer, you see a woman attempting to touch the “Break Ya Neck” rapper and in retaliation, he smacks her hand and abruptly stops performing. After he smacked the women’s hand, he asks the crowd to back up. He then proceeds to question the woman and her boyfriend. Busta said,
“Yo shorty, you with your man right?”

He then addresses the boyfriend and says,
“That’s your girl? What kinda sh*t you on letting her continue to grab me up. I’m a grown man, I’ll f*ck your girl. But I don’t wanna f*ck your girl, I got a good woman at home.”
Busta Rhymes continued to berate the concertgoer.
“Tame your girl. This is a weird thing. She touched me and sh*t. Ya’ll got ya’ll little funny a** camera phones and sh*t and I don’t agree with that. I’m not with it.”

It didn’t take long before social media weighed in on the topic. Some fans think Busta overreacted while others felt he was justified in being upset. One social media user wrote:
“Obviously she had touched him a few times prior to the video. People need to learn personal space and then keep their hands to themselves. I don’t blame him at all. He’s there to do a show not to be a squeeze toy.”
Another person said:
“He’s doing the most smh”

Hopefully this incident will not draw too much negative attention to the rapper as he will be receiving the Icon Award at this year’s BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc) R&B and Hip-Hop Awards. The ceremony is scheduled for Sept. 7 at the LIV Nightclub in Miami Beach.

It should come as no surprise that Busta Rhymes is next in line to receive this honor. The entertainer first rose to fame in the early 90s as one of the original members of Leaders of the New School. Since then he’s gone on to release 10 solo studio albums, appear in multiple TV shows and movies, and earn 12 Grammy Award nominations.
