R. Kelly Ordered To Pay Sex Abuse Victim $300k For Herpes Treatment & Psychological Care
R. Kelly’s legal issues are seemingly far from over.
As you may already know, R. Kelly is currently serving a 30-year prison sentence after being found guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking in a New York federal court last year.
According to new reports, a federal judge ruled today (Sept. 28) that R. Kelly will have to pay thousands in restitution to some of his victims from this case. The money will compensate two women, known as “Jane” and “Stephanie,” for the costs of therapy and herpes treatment.

For the victim being referred to as “Jane,” R. Kelly was reportedly ordered to hand over $300,668.18 to cover treatment related to herpes, as well as psychological care that she requires. He will also have to pay “Stephanie,” however, reports vary on the exact number she’s owed.
A 3rd victim going by “Sonja” was denied restitution.
In addition to his 30-year prison sentence, R. Kelly was recently found guilty of child pornography and obstruction charges in an Illinois federal court – there could be restitution in that case, as well.
