This won’t be her first time acting on the small screen. The “My Type” rapper made her acting debut on the hit series “Grown-ish” back in 2021 during season 3. Saweetie appeared in three episodes and played the character Indigo.
Season 2 of “Bel-Air” will premiere on Peacock on Feb. 23. The series stars Jabari Banks as Will, along with Adrian Holmes as Phillip Banks, Cassandra Freeman as Vivian Banks, Olly Sholotan as Carlton Banks, Coco Jones as Hilary Banks, Akira Akbar as Ashley Banks, Jimmy Akingbola as Geoffrey, Jordan L. Jones as Jazz, and Simone Joy Jones as Lisa.
The TV series is a re-imagination of the beloved sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” It’s set in modern-day America and centers around a new, dramatic take on Will’s journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel Air.
