‘Popeyes Meme Kid’ Lands NIL Deal w/ Fast Food Chicken Chain: Thank You To Everyone Who Got Me Here

‘Popeyes Meme Kid’ Lands NIL Deal w/ Fast Food Chicken Chain: Thank You To Everyone Who Got Me Here
The Popeyes meme kid has grown up and is officially doing business with the fast-food chicken chain.
Internet sensation-turned-college-athlete Dieunerst Collin recently signed a name, image, and likeness deal with the fast-food chain that undoubtedly holds a special place in his heart.
Collin, now 18, actively pushed for his alliance with Popeyes on social media, previously writing,
“@popeyes I JUST WANNA TALK BUSINESS.”
Well, it looks like the young athlete is getting his wish. Collin will be highlighted on a billboard close to his hometown in New Jersey as part of the recently established business connection.
The collaboration was formed after Popeyes realized Collin was the young person in the old viral Vine video who acquired notoriety on social media at the age of nine for his expressionless face when mistaken for influencer Terio.
Collin took to social media once again after landing the NIL deal — this time to thank everyone who helped him get the endorsement by tagging Popeyes. He said,
“I just want to thank everyone for going in the comments and tagging Popeyes. That actually led me to where I’m at now, so I’m grateful for that.”

In his caption, Collin added,
“ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO GOT ME HERE AND WHO COMMENTED POPEYE”
Collin‘s NIL contract with Popeyes is the most recent piece of good news for the 6’1,” 330-pound offensive lineman from Lake Erie College. Collin is winning on the football field as well! In 2021 he helped his high school, East Orange Campus, win a state title.
