NBA YoungBoy Becomes Youngest Artist To Land 100 Billboard Hot 100 Chart Entries
YoungBoy Never Broke Again is shattering records and living up to his name!
The Baton Rouge rapper (real name Kentrell Gaulden) made Billboard history by charting his 100th song on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the youngest artist to ever do so.
NBA YoungBoy‘s most recent Hot 100 entry is “Big Truck,” which debuted this week at No. 100 and put him above rapper Lil Baby, 27, for the record.
NBA YoungBoy is also just the 13th act to reach the Hot 100 milestone of 100 songs. With 294 career entries, Drake sits at the top of the list of all Hot 100 hits.
Despite his recent success, NBA YoungBoy has only had one song reach the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart out of the 100 songs that made the list. In 2019, “Bandit” featuring the late Chicago rapper Juice WRLD reached its highest position at No. 10.
YoungBoy also found success on the Billboard 200 chart with his latest album Don’t Try This at Home, which opened at No. 5 on the most recent Billboard 200 with 60,000 first-week units, his fourteenth Top 10 project.
The album was released on April 21 and has features from artists including Nicki Minaj, Mariah the Scientist, and Post Malone.
As previously reported, the rapper celebrated the album’s release with a listening party in Los Angeles while he was on house arrest in Utah for a 2020 gun possession charge. Sources close to the rapper shared that his team spent $200,000 to rent the party space at Elevate Lounge in downtown Los Angeles. However, due to his ongoing house arrest, he had to attend the party virtually.
