NBA YoungBoy’s Brothers Charged With Murder Of Baton Rouge, LA Teenager
Two brothers of rapper NBA YoungBoy have been taken in custody after the murder of an East Baton Rouge, Louisiana high school student.
Jeffrey and Davaughn Tate (16 and 18 respectively) are accused of being connected to the shooting that led to the death of Javon Brown, 17, who was a student at Belaire High School.

The brothers turned themselves in earlier this week. Jeffrey Tate was booked in a juvenile detention center. He was arrested for Principal to Second Degree Murder, Principal to Illegal Use of a Weapon and Simple Battery.
Davaughn Tate was sent to a local prison after being arrested for Second Degree Murder and Illegal Use of a Weapon.
According to FOX News 8, Javon Brown was walking home from school with a friend Monday (Dec. 2) when Davaughn Tate and Jeffrey Tate and a teenager who hasn’t been identified, allegedly walked up to him and started a fight, leading to Brown getting allegedly shot during the scuffle.
Jeffrey was also reportedly hurt in the incident. Police said it’s possible he was shot on accident. They all ran away before officers got to the scene.
He tragically passed away Tuesday (Dec. 3).
NBA YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, hasn’t made any new posts on social media since news of his brother’s arrests made headlines.
