Nicki Minaj & Husband Kenneth Petty Reportedly Avoiding Lawsuit For Allegedly Attacking Security Guard In Germany

Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, might’ve messed up big time after failing to respond to a recent legal matter.

If you remember, earlier this year, news broke that Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty were slapped with a 6-figure lawsuit for (allegedly) attacking one of Nicki Minaj’s former security guards, Thomas Weidenmüller.

Reportedly, the incident took place in January 2022, when the iconic rapstress and Kenneth Petty (allegedly) verbally and physically assaulted the head bouncer of Minaj’s concert in Frankfurt, Germany after a male fan bombarded their way on stage.

According to documents, which list battery, “infliction of emotional distress,” and negligence, as the reason(s) for the suit, the ecstatic attendee “breached a barricade” and (seemingly) dodged a female security guard on the staff in order to get to Minaj.

Although unharmed, Minaj and Petty (along with their entourage) aggressively approached the protective personnel about their failure to control the Barbz member’s rebellious act, according to reports.

Weidenmüller supposedly tried to diffuse the confrontation but was unsuccessful. The incident reportedly resulted in Minaj tossing her shoes at the woman and Petty landing a punch to Weidenmüller’s face.

It is reported that Weidenmüller spent over a week in the hospital for a suspected broken jaw and underwent seven surgeries. He’s now going after a whopping total of $753,958.51 from The Pettys.

According to new details surrounding the occurrence, the plaintiff has requested a default judgment. However, the “Starships” artist and her husband have (allegedly) been hard to track down, and Minaj is the only one who the judge has granted Weidenmüller a default judgment for.

He’s currently pushing for one against Petty.

To our knowledge, Minaj and Petty have yet to issue a public statement about the matter.

The Pettys are no stranger to run-ins with the law. Minaj and Petty have been battling it out in court with Petty’s sexual assault accuser, Jennifer Hough, for quite some time now. As you may know, subsequent to the exposal, Hough sued Minaj for using intimidation tactics to get her to recant the allegations.

Those charges were ultimately dropped, but this past December, Petty’s case was referred to mediation.
