Doja Cat Set To Showcase New Music As Headliner For The ‘Victoria’s Secret World Tour’
Doja Cat — real name Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini — is headlining “The Victoria’s Secret World Tour.”
According to reports, the event — which is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on Sept. 26 — is a part-fashion show, part-documentary that will feature a Doja Cat concert. In addition to a few of her already-released hit singles, fans can expect to see the 27-year-old perform new songs as well.
Doja Cat shared,
“I don’t want to spoil too much, but like past projects, there’s lots of different energy to songs, plus new sounds that I’ve never explored before. So that is exciting to me, and I can’t wait to put it out.”

Several styles that Doja and the brand worked on together will be featured in her performance.
She added,
“Because the Tour is a celebration of the strength and unique talent of creatives, we really wanted to channel this message through this look.”
The final Victoria’s Secret fashion show took place in 2018, marking the event’s formal discontinuation. According to reports, the documentary section of the program will concentrate on the behind-the-scenes details of Victoria’s Secret’s first televised fashion show since the termination of its iconic runway presentation, which debuted in 2001. L Brands, the organization that owns Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works, said they were attempting to “evolve the marketing” of the lingerie line when the cancellation was first made public.
News of Doja‘s performance comes as the Grammy-Award-winning artist has found herself in the crossfire of online criticism. Doja took jabs at her fans following in a series of since-deleted posts on Threads, claiming that they “don’t name themselves sh*t” in response to an account that said her admirers go by the name “Kittenz.” She also urged the closure of her fan accounts, writing:
“I don’t even know y’all.”
Several of her larger fan accounts reacted by deactivating their platforms.
