Very much a hi.. a few nervous spots but when ur shaken up over something tragic as a lost of a legend then what do u expect.. MUCH RESPECT she deserves it
Hhmmm. If I had to choose a fave Whitney song to save my life, that would be it. Considering I expected Ashanti to bomb the song, I’ll say I was pleasantly pleased. I think comparing anyone doing a tribute to Whitney TO Whitney is counterproductive. If we focus instead on just successful execution of vocals and not on if they “sound as good as Whitney” we’ll better be able to enjoy the covers. No one will match Whitney. There’s just no other voice like hers and that’s one of the reasons why we love her and grieve for her so. Ashanti did well.
