Kroy Biermann Confirms Family Home Is Facing Foreclosure + Kim Zolciak Angers Judge After Skipping Out On Latest Divorce Hearing

Despite Kim Zolciak’s best efforts to stop Kroy Biermann from ending their marriage, he is moving forward with the divorce and dropping major bombs in the process.

It’s no secret that Kim Zolciak is going through a hard time. In addition to her marital issues, she’s also allegedly in a great amount of debt and will possibly be losing her Georgia-based mansion soon. As previously reported, last October reports first surfaced that the five-bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom property was facing foreclosure because Kim Zolciak and her estranged husband Kroy Biermann failed to pay back a large loan. Then in February of this year, the couple found themselves in the same situation, and their home was set to be auctioned off on March 7. An insider shared that Kim said the entire ordeal was a “misunderstanding” that would soon be worked out, but it doesn’t look like anything was resolved.

Today (Sept. 27) the former love birds were set to appear virtually for a court hearing surrounding their pending separation. However, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum decided to skip out on the formal proceeding. According to Kim’s lawyer, she wasn’t able to attend because she was
traveling back from Colombia, where she filmed for the reality series “The Surreal Life.” Reportedly, the judge was angry that the mother-of-6 was a no-show and said,

“her presence was not waived for today, so she is supposed to be here. I did not waive her presence.”

In addition, all parties are now required to appear at the next hearing in person. Before the brief court session ended, Kroy Biermann asked the court for permission to sell the family’s $3 million home. According to his attorney, the property is currently scheduled to be foreclosed upon on November 7. When asked if that’s true, Kroy simply replied,

“Correct.”

However, Kim’s lawyer said he “did not know” his client was in danger of losing her home. When asked if the equity on the home exceeds more than $1 million, Kroy, again, answered,

“Correct.”

A follow-up hearing has been set for Friday (Sept. 29). Reports claim that’s when the judge will rule on Kim’s motion to have Kroy’s second divorce filing tossed out as well as address the retired NFLer’s request to sell their home.
