Suge Knight To Address Snoop Dogg’s Acquisition Of Death Row Records & Calls Out Akon & Warren G On Trailer For New Podcast He’s Releasing From Prison
Jail won’t keep Suge Knight from sharing his truth with the world!
According to reports, the incarcerated rap legend has landed a podcast deal and is set to release it later this month.
Reportedly the series titled, “Collect Calls With Suge Knight”, will make it’s debut on Halloween of this year. The Death Row Records founder is said to have already recorded the first 5 episodes, which consist of 30 minute conversations with the musician, real name Marion Knight Jr., 58. As part of the podcast, Suge will reportedly speak on his historic rap beefs, as well as his opinion on Snoop Dogg’s purchase of the record company he started. As we covered last year, the “Gin & Juice” artist managed to obtain ownership of Death Row Records, along with the master’s to his own albums and majority of the company’s catalog.
Reportedly, The Source magazine founder Dave Mays signed Suge to the deal, and stated his that the main goal for the platform is to connect the younger and older generations. The famed rapper reportedly wants to use past experiences to help up and coming artists grow and benefit from them. The Breakbeat Media CEO reportedly released a statement on his coming project with Suge, stating:
“As we celebrate hip-hop’s 50th year, more than ever the hip-hop community needs a media platform that they can trust to bring a truthful and authentic perspective on so many important things happening in our world. I’m proud that Breakbeat provides this essential and valuable medium.”
