Simon Guobadia Tells The People Who Influenced Porsha Williams To Divorce Him ‘Please Step Up & Own Her Mental State Of Mind’

Update #2 (March 13): Simon Guobadia has a message for whoever influenced Porsha Williams to divorce him. The businessman took to his Instagram Story and wrote on Wednesday (March 13):

“If You Are behind Porsha Filing For Divorce, Please Step Up And Own Her Mental State of Mind! #dumb**s”

Minutes later he reiterated,

“If You Are Behind Porsha Filing for Divorce, You Should Own her Mental State of Mind. #didnotarrivehereonherownaccord”

Update (March 7): Simon Guobadia seems to be letting Porsha Williams go.

The Nigerian businessman appears to have stripped most images of him and Porsha Williams from his Instagram account, leaving only their wedding photo.

Despite the move, it might be safe to say Simon Guobadia is in good spirits. He shared a selfie from an Atlanta Hawks game and wrote a positive message in the caption:

“Go Hawks?#livingmybestlife#fineboynopimples“

Original Story (Feb. 25): It looks like Simon Guobadia is not ready to give up on his marriage.

The businessman and his estranged wife Porsha Williams both made separate Instagram posts recently that seem to express their feelings about their pending divorce.

Posting a message that has led many to believe that their breakup may not be what it seems, Simon Guobadia, 59, wrote:

“Will Stop Loving My Wife When Divorce Is Final”

Porsha Williams‘ post, however, did not reciprocate the same sentiment. The 42-year-old insinuated that she’ll be going by her maiden name once again, writing in her upload:

“Thank you for your prayers & support. -PW”

As we recently covered, Willaims and Guobadia shocked everyone earlier this week as reports of their split circulated on the internet. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast members have been married since November 2022 and were just gushing over one another days before announcing their separation.

Guobadia also ran into some legal trouble in the days before his marriage began to crumble. Reportedly, the Nigeria native’s request to become a US citizen was denied due to his alleged past involvement with identity fraud. Reports noted that Guobadia has repeatedly challenged the ruling, but has ultimately not been successful. Williams never spoke about the matter publicly and her soon-to-be ex-husband simply responded to the reports stating he was “doing well.”

However, it appears some social media users aren’t quite convinced that this is the end for the couple. Many reacted to Guobadia’s post about continuing to love Williams with speculations that the divorce may be just for show so that she isn’t implicated in his immigration case. A few even suggested the split may be just to rev up ratings for season 16 of “RHOA.”
