Diddy’s Assistant Will Avoid Jail Time In Felony Drug Case As Long As He Completes 6-Month Diversion Program
Looks like Diddy’s assistant Brendan Paul won’t be locked up over his drug possession charge.
Reports state that the music mogul’s associate took a plea deal that will allow him to avoid a prison stint, so long as he completes a mandatory diversion program.

As we previously reported, Brendan Paul was initially detained in March around the same time his boss Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Miami and Los Angeles homes were raided as part of an ongoing drug and sex trafficking investigation. Although Brendan Paul first entered a plea of not guilty, reports note he has since submitted a guilty plea as he was able to reach a deal with prosecutors.
Paul’s attorney reportedly stated about the plea deal:
“Brendan accepted the prosecutor’s offer to permit his entry into the diversion program which, after completion, the case against him will be dismissed in its entirety.”
Reportedly, Paul’s offer from the prosecution is standard for first-time non-violent offenders. His freedom will be contingent upon his completion of a 6-month diversion program, which he’s purportedly already enrolled in. If he successfully gets through the course without issue, the drug charge will be dropped entirely and Paul will also avoid being placed on probation.
