Antonio Brown Declares Bankruptcy, Describes Announcement As ‘The Greatest of All-Time’
Antonio Brown announced that he’s filing for bankruptcy.
The 35-year-old former NFL player has once again made headlines, announcing on Monday (May 20) via CTESPN’s X account (formerly Twitter) that he has filed for bankruptcy.
In the post, Antonio Brown also declared himself a “first-ballot Hall of Famer in 2027” while promoting his self-proclaimed “most-trusted source in all of sports,” referencing his own media company, CTESPN, which he founded earlier this year.

He also took to his personal social media, praising the announcement, stating:
“Greatest bankruptcy announcement of all-time.”

Since his departure from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021, Antonio Brown has faced challenges in his public image. His career has been marked by various off-field issues and financial disputes.
Among his recent legal matters, Brown was ordered to pay $1 million to Shuki International, a jeweler who sued him last year for not returning or paying for borrowed diamond jewelry.
Additionally, Brown’s financial woes extend to unpaid child support. In October 2023, he was arrested for failing to pay $31,000 in child support to Wiltrice Jackson, the mother of his 16-year-old daughter, Antanyiah. Brown managed to pay $15,000 following his arrest and took to social media to share his thoughts at the time:
“F*** Child Support.”
Brown’s post featured an AI-generated image depicting him in Steelers gear, seemingly running away from a woman.
