Chris Brown Says ‘This Don’t Look Blackballed To Me’ While Celebrating Sold Out Tour Opener
Congratulations are in order for Chris Brown!
The 35-year-old recently addressed ongoing chatter about whether or not people support him while boasting about selling out the first stop on his tour.

Chris Brown was performing in Detroit for his 11:11 Tour on Wednesday (June 5th) when he commented about being “blackballed.” Looking out into the packed event, he stated:
“For a n**** they say is blackballed, this don’t look blackballed to me!”
@mbreezyx “For a nigga thats blackballed, this dont look blackballed to me” ? Detroit was packed for opening night!!!! ? #Teambreezy #fyp #chrisbrown #Detroit #1111tour @chrisbrownofficial #tour #foryou #chrisbrownofficial #chrisbrownconcert #summer2024 #viral
The remark was a jab at Chris Brown naysayers who claim people aren’t interested in his life or career anymore following allegations of abuse. Brown has maintained that it’s really just the industry that has attempted to keep him from success, a notation that appears to be validated by his sold-out shows.

Chris Brown
As you may recall, Brown’s infamous 2009 domestic violence incident with ex-girlfriend Rihanna sparked widespread backlash against him. The entertainer’s career and reputation were tarnished for many years, despite the “Diamonds” singer stating on multiple occasions that she’d forgiven him.

Throughout subsequent years, Brown would sporadically find himself at the center of other abuse scandals, including allegations involving his ex-girlfriend Karreuche Tran, though he has never again been criminally charged with other violent crimes. Despite everything, the “Warm Embrace” artist has continued to release new music, even collaborating with other artists such as Ciara and Chloe Bailey, both of which faced backlash for working with Brown.

If judged solely by fans, however, it seems Brown has much more support than some may be willing to give credit for.
