Diddy’s Former Artist Shyne Barrow Blasted By 1999 Shooting Victim For Being A ‘Con Artist’ & Failing To Pay Settlement Money

Shyne Barrow is being called out for allegedly owing money.

The victim of the 1999 club shooting that he ultimately served time for recently confirmed the singer wasn’t the triggerman, but criticized him for allegedly failing to pay the settlement she was awarded.

Natania Reuben lashed out against Shyne Barrow during a recent interview, claiming that while the former Bad Boys artist is not guilty of firing the bullet that caused her injuries, he’s “far from innocent.” She stated:

“Shyne did not shoot me…but Shyne is a con artist…Everybody’s like, ‘Oh, we know Shyne was innocent.’ No, you don’t know… Because he’s far from innocent.” 

Continuing, Natania Reuben accused Shyne Barrow of using her to advance his political standing in his home country of Belize but ignoring his financial obligations to her. In case you’re unfamiliar, the 45-year-old musician began a career in government after serving a 10-year prison sentence over the NYC shooting and is presently the Leader of the Opposition of Belize.

Natania Reuben added about Barrow in the interview:

“He’s going to jockey off of me…Saying Shyne didn’t shoot me to try to leverage himself to get that prime minister seat. You ain’t nothing but a penny Annie Shyer, a shady car salesman, a dressed-up fraud, a liar…You still owe me money…In the settlement, Shyne was responsible… He didn’t have the money to pay [then].”

Reports state that Reuben was awarded an unstated amount of settlement money from Barrow, and $1.8 million from Diddy for his involvement in the incident. As we previously reported, Barrow has always maintained his innocence and alleged earlier this year that he was the “fall guy” for his former label boss Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who he says was actually the shooter.

Reuben went on to affirm Barrow’s claims that Diddy is the one who struck her face with a bullet and accused the media titan of “harassing” her for years after paying out her settlement funds. She additionally opened up about how the shooting continues to impact her life decades later, admitting that she’s struggled with survivor’s guilt and still suffers from “a whole lot of medical issues.” She stated:

“It becomes that questioning that you ask well, ‘Why me? what’s so special about me?’… I truly believe that God have left me of sound mind and body and aesthetically whole so that…when I come and I spread my message and I speak truth to power no one is distracted by a disfigurement. I’m eternally grateful for that but the aftermath has not been easy.”
