Big Sean Shoots Down Rumors That Kanye West Leaked Music From His Forthcoming Album: ‘I Know He Ain’t Do That S**t’
Rap star Big Sean is showing loyalty to his former label boss Kanye West.
The Detroit native recently dispelled circulating whispers that the Donda artist was responsible for the recent leak of his new music, citing their years of history as enough evidence for him.

Reportedly, Big Sean spoke about the matter during a recent Instagram live session. The 36-year-old was discussing reports that a zealous Kanye West fans leaked music from his forthcoming project “Better Than Me,” releasing on August 9th., stating:
“To whoever did do that, just know it did f*** me up…N*ggas talking about Ye did it….I know he ain’t do that,

Continuing, Big Sean shared his disbelief that Kanye West himself orchestrated the ordeal and referenced his deep ties to the hip-hop icon. In case you’re unfamiliar, Big Sean was signed to the Kanye West founded Good Music label from 2007 – 2021. Despite West claiming in a Drink Champs interview a few years back that bringing on the “I Don’t F**k With You” rapper was the “worst” thing he’s done in his career, Sean has insisted that the two are in good standing.

Further explaining why he doesn’t think West would leak his music today, Sean expressed his gratitude and love for Good Music, and noted that he’s sold 185 million records with the label. He also recalled how he was present while the 24x Grammy award winner recorded some of his most acclaimed bodies of work, such as Graduation, 808s & Heartbreak, and MBDTF.

Sean says that while he had been granted the opportunity many times to listen to music before it was released for all those years, he never betrayed West in that way and doesn’t believe West would either. He added:
“I know he wouldn’t do that, that’s trash…I know he wouldn’t do know sh*t like that..whoever started that rumor, y’all on some bullsh*t”
It does not appear that West himself has commented on the matter publicly at this time.
