Cardi B Feuds w/TikTok Star Paradise Paris For Criticizing Her Career & DM’ing Offset

Super star Cardi B hasn’t been known to shy away from heated exchanges.

The “On Dat Money” rapper showed as much to be true over the weekend during an online back and forth, where she accused a woman criticizing her album of being jealous of her marriage.

It appears the confrontation between Cardi B, real name Belcalis Marlenis Cephus, 31, and the culture commentator who goes by the X (formerly Twitter) handle @_ParadiseParis1, sparked this past Thursday (July 18th). Paris, who boasts a following of more than 180,000 on TikTok and 30,000 on X, kicked things off by sharing a post slamming Cardi B for her lashing out on Joe Budden. As we recently reported, the rapper turned podcaster opted to apologize to the Grammy winner over the ordeal, which began after Joe Budden criticized Cardi for once again delaying her sophomore album, 6 years after her debut project was released.

In response, Paris seemed to catch herself on Cardi’s bad side after she doubled down on many of Budden’s points from the episode, writing:

“Why does Cardi B feels she’s above criticism? All of her peers are dropping albums & doing progressive things in their career and she sticks out like a sore thumb. No tours, no meet & greet, no merch, one album, featured singles & viral moments. Is she a rapper or does she rant?

In what appears to be a since deleted post, Cardi B responded:

“That’s not what I said….F**K YOU AND YOUR THREE STOMACHS BI**H.”

Afterwards Paris, who’s known for her many “reads” on celebrities and culture events, posted a lengthy rant where she insulted Cardi over her body enhancements, career, and marriage. The content creator labeled the musician “insecure” and surmised that she lashes out online because of apparent ongoing turbulence in her relationship to fellow rapper Offset, as well as her perceived inability to remain a chart topping artist.

Shooting back, Cardi made several posts attacking Paris body shape, drawing much criticism from other commenters. It appears she has since deleted the posts targeted at the content creator and instead offered a thank you to her fans for their support, writing:

“I wanna say this to Bardi gang or anybody who’s just a fan of my music or even my craziness… I have my good days and my bad days but you know what, whether it’s good or bad I couldn’t be happier with the obvious anticipation for my album..Sometimes I get a little aggressive because yall know I don’t like to be told what to do but I promise you it’s coming THIS YEAR. Thank you for the love and anticipation and always holding me down  I love yall”

Though she refrained from any more insults about looks, Cardi did go on to accuse the TikTok star of targeting her not out of genuine concern, but because she wants a chance with her husband. In one post, Cardi shared a tweet from Paris‘ account where she shared a DM she sent to the Migos member, writing:

“Sooo the whole time this what it was about ? You made it about my album ,my plastic surgery,my marriage all cause you want to sleep wit my babydad ? …..y’all weird!!”

In another post, Cardi shared more of Paris‘ old tweets that saw the content creator shooting her shot at Offset while he and Cardi were going through their marital woes. She wrote as the caption:

“I know right …..this why she came for me sooo hard but she made it about my album”

Paris went on to allege that those posts she made about Offset were only for engagement purposes. She also re-shared several of her own posts supporting Cardi throughout the ordeal.

It does not appear Cardi has said anything further about the matter at this time.
