Beyoncé Tops List Of Female Artists Nominated For People’s Choice Country Awards
Hopefully, Beyoncé has cleared out some space in her trophy case
Nominees for the second annual People’s Choice Country Awards were announced today (Aug. 14), and it may be no shock that the Texas native is among those leading the list of most nominations received. Beyoncé comes in second overall, but first for women nominees, with a total of 17 noms. The awards she’s up for are due to her eighth studio solo album Cowboy Carter, released earlier this year in March. Although the critically acclaimed body of work pulls from several genres, its strong country influence is undeniable.
Awards Beyoncé could potentially walk away with following the ceremony on Sept. 26 are The People’s Artist of 2024, The Female Artist of 2024, and The Social Country Star of 2024. Some of her other nominations include The Song of 2024 for “Texas Hold ‘Em,” and The Female Song of 2024 for “16 Carriages.”

Scoring 19 noms, country singer Zach Bryan is the only person with more nominations this year than Beyoncé. Shaboozey, who is featured on Beyoncé’s recent album, is another artist with more than one recognition, earning 12 nominations for his work. Shania Twain is set to host the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards. For a complete list of nominations click on the link below and to vote for your fav click here.
