Wally Amos, Founder of Amos Cookie Brand, Has Died [VIDEO]
Very sad news. Wally “Famous” Amos, the entrepreneur who founded the cookie brand Famous Amos, passed away on Tuesday, August 12th. He was 88.
His children, Shawn and Sarah Amos said the cause was complications of dementia.
Famous Amos, one of the world’s best-known names in baked goods, was founded by Wally in 1975. Since then, they’ve become a household name.
No additional details about his passing have been released.
