Snoop Dogg ‘Playing Matchmaker’ For Longtime Friend Martha Stewart, Insider Says He Doesn’t Understand ‘Why A Beautiful Soul Like Her’ Is Single

Entertainer Snoop Dogg has added another title to his lengthy resume, matchmaker.

The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” artist has reportedly stepped into the role of matchmaker for his longtime friend Martha Stewart, 83. An insider recently shared,

“He can’t understand why a beautiful soul like Martha hasn’t snagged a guy when she looks so great and much younger than her age.”

Martha Stewart married her first (and only) husband Andrew Stewart in 1961, and in 1965 they welcomed their daughter, Alexis, into the world. Unfortunately, the romance between them sizzled out, and in 1990 they filed for divorce. Following her marriage, Martha Stewart has been romantically linked to a few other men, most notably billionaire Microsoft Office creator Charles Simonyi. They dated for 15 years before things came to an end in 2008.

Martha is currently single and, according to the insider, Snoop Dogg is doing what he can to help her get her groove back. You may have seen the pair of friends in matching outfits at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Snoop Dogg was there for NBC commentary work and apparently it was his idea for Martha to celebrate her latest birthday with him in the city of love.

The source revealed,

“Snoop is doing a search of all his contacts to try to come up with some dates and helping Martha to get out more.”

And added,

“It’s good for Martha to get out. She spends too much time by herself. She is too proud to complain, but it can’t be nice making dinner for one all the time.”

In a March 2023 interview, Martha dished on what she was looking for in a relationship and said,

“I know a lot of eligible men, I think they really want a woman who will take care of them, so I’m still not quite in that position where I can take care of a man full-time because I work too much, and that’s my big problem.”

She added,

“I think that If I analyze my life, I think the work has taken precedence over the romance. And I think a lot of people are in that position. I have a hard time making room for both and it’s not the highest priority that I have a boyfriend, but it would be nice.”

No word yet on who exactly Snoop wants his friend to end up with, but another source shared she’s “tired of the prim and proper life” and is ready to have some fun!
