Diddy’s Children Are ‘In A State Of Crisis & Shock’ Following His Arrest, Insider Claims

The children of recently arrested record executive Sean “Diddy” Combs are reportedly “in a state of crisis.”

As we’ve been extensively covering, Diddy is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The 54-year-old pleaded not guilty but was denied bond twice by two judges.

An insider recently shared with PEOPLE that since his arrest on Sept. 16, Diddy has “been able to speak briefly to family members and his children via phone.” The “Act Bad” rapper is father to 7, sons Quincy, 33, Justin, 30, and Christian, 26, and daughters Chance, 18, twins Jessie and D’Lila, 17, and Love, 23 months.

According to the source,

“[Diddy] is very concerned about his kids and their well-being. He has three minor children, two of whom now have no living parent available with him incarcerated. Four of his seven children have neither parent available with him incarcerated.”

A second source claimed that Diddy’s children are “in a state of crisis and shock” following their father’s arrest. They added,

“It’s heartbreaking to see the children in the state they’re in. This is their father. But to them, he’s not Diddy — he’s Dad. He has always been a loving, devoted father.”

Diddy shared Christian, Jessie and D’Lila with the late Kim Porter. The model and actress was also mom to Quincy, whom she welcomed with Al B. Sure!, and Diddy later adopted. The Grammy Award winner shares Justin with stylist Misa Hylton, Chance with Sarah Chapman, and his almost 2-year-old with Dana Tran.
