Things are looking up for Savannah, GA rapper Quando Rondo, born Tyquian Bowman.
As reported, the 25-year-old pleaded guilty to a federal drug conspiracy charge involving over a dozen kilograms of marijuana in August. He’s reportedly looking at the possibility of serving 5 years in prison. Due to his ongoing legal problems, probation officers have been keeping a close eye on Quando Rondo. However, TMZ reports that he was recently given the green light from a judge to travel to New York this week to conduct business with his label, Atlantic Records.

Seemingly reacting to the positive news, moments ago, Quando Rondo shared a statement online thanking supporters from his hometown for sticking by him. The message adds,
“I know I haven’t always made the best choices, and I take responsibility for that. I’ve had ups and downs, but I know I can do better – not just for myself, but for the community that has supported me. Savannah deserves more from me, and I’m working hard to be a better person.”

Quando Rondo released his second studio album, “Recovery,” in March of last year. His next project is set to drop on November 15th.
