Rapper Quando Rondo Says He’s Leaving His Gang After His Close Friend Was Shot & Killed

It looks like Quando Rondo wants out of the gang life.

As previously reported, the Georgia native was involved in an apparent “assassination” attempt in broad daylight on August 19. Though the rapper did not sustain any injuries, one of the his associates in his vehicle was fatally hit. While police are still investigating the murder, they have stated they believe Quando Rondo, born Tyquian Terrel Bowman, was the intended target. Tragically, he lost his friend, 23-year-old Lul Pab who was struck during the shootout.

In video footage of the shooting’s aftermath, Quando Rondo can be seen crying out and grieving his sudden loss as his friends body is removed from the vehicle.

As the “Now Or Never” artist continues to grieve the loss of his friend Lul Pab, Rondo is reportedly making some adjustments to the people he hangs around. According to reports, in the wake of his friend’s passing, Rondo has taken to Instagram to share a few thoughts about splitting from his crew. The 23-year-old rap artist, who is reportedly affiliated with gangs “Jump Out Gang” and “NH,” opened up via his IG stories and wrote,

“It’s time for me to spend time to myself and free myself from a lot of people. My Main Manz Gone & a lot more sh*t I’m cool on alot of sh*t if I feel like you not with me it’s no reason for me To be holding on to you no need to shake your hand or fake some with you ! I’m Living Life How I wanna live life whatever I wanna do ima do it you gone either gone get with it or get lost.”

Rondo went on to make a series of other posts where he declared that there wasn’t any “loyalty in this sh*t,” adding that he has decided to “[lay] my flag down.” Allegedly, Rondo decided to walk away from his respective gangs after members began hanging around his enemies and going behind his back.

Rondo continued,

“I’m not NH yall ain’t gone ride for a n*gga foreal it’s no sense of me being apart of yall sh*t y’all fw the opposition. Idgaf who feel hit.”

Since announcing his retirement from the street life on social media, Rondo has been a talked about topic on Twitter.
