Young Thug Changes Plea To Guilty In YSL RICO Trial
Moments ago news broke that jailed rapped Young Thug, real name Jeffery Williams, agreed to change his plea to guilty. If approved by the judge, this would bring an end to the long case, which started in 2022 and has made history as Georgia’s longest-running criminal trial, according to NBC News.
The publication adds that,
“The plea change by the rapper appeared on the brink of not happening after Superior Court Judge Paige Whitaker asked if he agreed to a nonnegotiated plea. That means prosecutors and the defense could not come to a sentencing deal, and that the judge still ultimately decides his punishment.”
This is a developing story, please check back for updates.
