Regina Hall Says She’s ‘Thrilled At The Possibility ‘ To Return For ‘Scary Movie’ Reboot
We might get the chance to see what Brenda has been up to all these years later.
During a recent interview with TV Insider, Regina Hall (aka Brenda Meeks) weighed in on her “Scary Movie” co-star Anna Faris, who portrays Cindy Campbell in the slasher parody films, sharing months ago that if a reboot were to ever happen she’d return for two reasons: Money and Regina Hall.
“Anna is great,” Regina said before speaking on the news that the Wayans brothers are rebooting the film series.
“I’m just very excited to know that the Wayans, who actually started the project out of their idea, are back on board and at the helm again. I’m excited for them.”

She added,
“We’ll see if Brenda is in this new world. I’m thrilled at the possibility that the band could get back together again. That would be fun.”
As reported, towards the end of October, it was confirmed that the Wayans brothers’ “Scary Movie” reboot was officially in development. The beloved franchise was developed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, Shawn Wayans, and Marlon Wayans. However, the famous family had no involvement in the 3 films that followed “Scary Movie 2.”
Speaking on their return, Marlon shared to IG,
“WE’RE BACK!!! After nearly 20 years, the Wayans brothers are finally going to give the fans what they’ve been asking for… a return to the SCARY MOVIE franchise! We’re looking forward to having fun on the big screen again.”
No word yet on who will be a part of the cast.
