Drake Remains The Most Streamed Rapper On Spotify Global & U.S. Charts For 8th Consecutive Year
Despite being embroiled in rap beef with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Future, and others this year, Drake has maintained his reign as Spotify’s top rapper for the 8th year in a row!
Earlier today, December 4, the Canadian pop star came in just behind Taylor Swift in Spotify Wrapped, securing his place as the most-streamed rapper globally and in the U.S. for 2024.

The achievement speaks volumes about Drake’s influence considering his main rap rival, Kendrick Lamar, dropped a record-breaking diss track against him over the summer. Kendrick notably claimed Apple Music’s No. 1 artist this year, mostly due to the success of “Not Like Us,” according to TMZ.
While artists like The Weeknd and Bad Bunny dominated overall rankings, Drake’s impact remains undeniable. And with his Australian tour expanding due to high demand, it’s clear 2025 is shaping up to be another huge year for him.
