Jay-Z — Attorney Representing Rapper’s Sexu@l Ass@ult Accuser, Tony Buzbee, Slams Extortion Claims As ‘Bogus’
Tony Buzbee isn’t holding back after Jay-Z’s legal team accused him of running an “extortionate campaign.”
In a statement posted to X (formerly Twitter), Tony Buzbee, who represents the woman accusing Jay-Z of a$$ault, wrote:
“Jay Z’s assertions are bogus and laughable. Our firm sent a standard demand letter seeking a mediation on behalf of a woman who alleges Jay-Z s*xually ass@ulted her as a minor. The letter was vetted and approved by our client, whose preference was to attempt resolution short of filing a lawsuit. This approach is common in these types of cases.”
Tony Buzbee went on to criticize Jay-Z’s response, saying,
“What you are seeing played out now is a coordinated and desperate effort to focus the public’s attention on me personally to avoid attention on the allegations being made by my clients.”

This comes amid a lawsuit alleging that Jay-Z and Diddy s*xually a$$aulted a 13-year-old girl in 2000.
