The singer shared a screenshot on Instagram of a direct message sent to one of her followers, which read,
“Hey this is Kelly from Destiny’s Child, I lost my credit card and I need money for a plain ticket so I can fly to your city to perform. Can you send me some money?”
Kelly captioned the post,
“Be careful out here! This is fake af!”
She added,
“And don’t you think I know how to spell P-L-A-N-E!”
Fans should definitely keep their guard up—don’t fall for this scam!
