Carrie Underwood sang “America the Beautiful” a cappella at President Donald Trump’s inauguration after technical issues disrupted her performance.
After Trump’s remarks in the Capitol Rotunda, Carrie prepared to sing with a backing track, but the music abruptly cut off. Cameras captured her mouthing to a technical team member, “Just sing?” before nodding and proceeding without accompaniment.
