‘Bling Empire’ Star Lynn Ban Passes Away At 51 Following Brain Bleed From Ski Accident
Prayers up for the family and friends of Bling Empire star Lynn Ban.
The jewelry designer’s son, Sebastian, shared heartbreaking news earlier today (Jan. 22), revealing that Lynn tragically passed away on Monday (Jan. 20) due to complications from a ski accident she suffered in December.
In a post shared to Lynn’s Instagram, Sebastian wrote:
“My mum passed away on Monday. I know she wanted to share her journey after her accident and brain surgery, so I thought she would appreciate one last post sharing the news with the people who supported her. Many of you followed my mum but never got the chance to know her or meet her in person. I would like to take the chance to share who my mum really was. She was and always will be my best friend, the best mother to me, and someone who cared for all.”

Lynn made her reality TV debut on Netflix’s Bling Empire: New York, which chronicles the lives of affluent Asian Americans living in New York City. She was also the owner of Lynn Ban Jewelry, a brand that gained notoriety for its designs worn by celebrities like Rihanna and Beyoncé.
Lynn first shared news of the accident on Dec. 30, recounting how she suffered a severe fall in Aspen during a family vacation. She explained that after “catching a tip” at the top of a mountain and face-planting, she required an emergency craniotomy due to a brain bleed.
Despite emergency medical intervention, Sebastian shared that Lynn sadly succumbed to her injuries.
Our hearts go out to Lynn’s loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
