Stevie Wonder Says He’s Over Following Politics: ‘Too Much Bullsh*t’
After months of being vocal about America’s political future — even speaking at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) last year — music legend Stevie Wonder says he’s officially tuning out politics.
In a recent street interview with TMZ, the 74-year-old icon was asked his thoughts about Trump’s Jan. 20 inauguration, admitting:
“Guess what? I don’t follow politics anymore.”
When asked about the ceremony coinciding with Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Stevie didn’t hold back, adding:
“It’s too much bullsh*t. I follow the truth.”

Last August, Stevie delivered a powerful speech at the DNC, encouraging Americans to take action, passionately sharing:
“Now is the moment to understand where we are and what it will take to win: win the broken hearts, win the disenchanted, win the angry spirits — now is the time. We must choose courage over complacency.”
It seems Stevie has grown weary just days into Trump’s presidency, which has already been marked by several controversial executive orders targeting immigration, the LGBTQ+ community, and more.
