Tupac Shakur’s Murder Suspect Keefe D Involved In Brawl Behind Bars
Duane “Keefe D” Davis, the man accused of orchestrating Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder, found himself in a violent altercation behind bars while awaiting trial.
Keefe D was involved in a physical fight with a fellow inmate at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas, with both men engaging in “mutual combat by grappling and throwing closed fist strikes.” Keefe D allegedly placed the other inmate in a headlock during the brawl.
The fight only ended when a corrections officer intervened, using pepper spray on both men.
As a result of the altercation, Keefe D now faces an additional charge of battery by a prisoner. According to reports, he told officers he was “just standing his ground.” He has been in custody since September 2023, after being indicted for Tupac Shakur’s murder. His trial is set to begin in March, though he has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
