Wendy Williams’ Guardian Will Order New Mental Evaluation For Her
Wendy Williams’ legal guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, is requesting a new mental evaluation for the TV star after Wendy Williams denied having dementia, the condition that led to her being placed in assisted living. In recent interviews with TMZ and “The Breakfast Club,” Wendy Williams adamantly stated that she does not have frontotemporal dementia, prompting Sabrina Morrissey to inform the judge overseeing Wendy’s case.
Sabrina Morrissey, through her attorney Roberta Kaplan, also shared that Wendy no longer wishes to pursue a lawsuit against A&E regarding the Lifetime docuseries, which had previously been pursued for Wendy’s benefit. To ensure transparency about Wendy’s health, Morrissey believes it would be wise for Wendy to undergo a comprehensive new evaluation by a specialist. While Morrissey supports this step, she made it clear that they would not continue with the A&E lawsuit if Wendy’s mental capacity is found to be sufficient.
The evaluation could lead to the lawsuit being paused.
