Snoop Dogg Only Does Deals That ‘Take Care Of’ & Give Back To His Community
Snoop Dogg isn’t just building a business empire—he’s building a legacy rooted in community upliftment.
Recently named one of TIME’s 100 most influential people of 2025, the rap icon shared that philanthropy is non-negotiable in his partnerships. “You can pay me, but that ain’t all we doing,” he told TIME.
“We gonna make sure you take care of this community initiative that I have… that’s a part of the deal as well,” he explained.
Known for ventures spanning cannabis, fashion, food, and more, Snoop clarified that ownership and purpose guide his brand. “I want you to frame it like I’ll do anything if I own the brand. That’s a big difference.”
His commitment was evident after wildfires struck L.A.:
“I’m pushing buttons, making things happen… making sure the right people are getting the things they need.” Even a bank reached out, offering to “contribute money to people that lost their homes.”
Should more rappers take notes?
