Gunna’s Status w/ YSL Records In Question As Label Scrubs Him From Social Media
Gunna’s standing with YSL has come under renewed scrutiny after fans noticed all traces of him were removed from the label’s Instagram.
This move follows ongoing speculation about his loyalty after he took a plea deal in the YSL RICO case. Though Gunna received judge-approved permission to collaborate with Young Thug post-release, that relationship now seems strained. Young Thug later posted—and quickly deleted:
“Gunna stop acting like we friends on the internet, I don’t know u my guy.”

While rumors of cooperation swirl, Gunna and his former lawyer Steve Sadow have consistently denied any wrongdoing. “Gunna did NOT cooperate, and did NOTHING and said NOTHING to cause harm to Thug’s case,” Sadow said. “He spent 8 months in jail and was released in Dec. 2022 after entering an Alford plea.”
Sadow also noted Gunna wasn’t a witness, received no probation, and has since achieved “international fame and recognition” while performing globally.
