Destiny’s Child Star Michelle Williams Finally Meets Actress Michelle Williams For The First Time At Broadway’s ‘Death Becomes Her’
Destiny’s Child star Michelle Williams and actress Michelle Williams, two iconic figures who share the same name, met for the first time on April 17, 2025, at Broadway’s “Death Becomes Her.”
The singer, who stars in the musical adaptation, and the actress, famous for “Dawson’s Creek,” posed together backstage after the show. The meeting was captured in a photo and a funny video shared on social media, with the singer jokingly pretending to sign autographs for the actress. “Finally,” she wrote in the post, as the actress asked, “Who should I make it out to?” The two women, both rising to fame in the 1990s, have often been confused with each other.

This confusion grew even more as they crossed paths in entertainment, with both pursuing acting and singing careers. Tickets for the Broadway hit are now on sale, and the musical is eligible for Tony nominations.
