Tesla Board Denies Reports Company Is Searching For New CEO To Replace Elon Musk
The Tesla board is not taking steps to replace Elon Musk.
Board member Robyn Denholm released a statement on X to clear up recent rumors.
It reads:
“Earlier today, there was a media report erroneously claiming that the Tesla Board had contacted recruitment firms to initiate a CEO search at the company. This is absolutely false (and this was communicated to the media before the report was published). The CEO of Tesla is Elon Musk and the Board is highly confident in his ability to continue executing on the exciting growth plan ahead.”

The statement comes after reports claimed that Elon Musk was on the verge of being replaced as Tesla’s stock has declined in the last couple of weeks and Elon Musk focuses on leading the Department of Government Efficiency as President Donald Trump‘s advisor.
