Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are on cloud nine after revealing they’re expecting their third child!

Following Rihanna’s surprise baby bump debut at the Met Gala earlier this week, a source close to the couple told PEOPLE they’re feeling incredibly grateful to be expanding their family, especially now that Rocky’s legal troubles are behind them. The insider shared:

“His trial was a dark cloud. It was very stressful for both of them.”

Adding:

“They feel very blessed.”

Rocky, 36, whose real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers, was previously facing serious legal trouble after A$AP Relli accused him of shooting him in the hand during a 2021 altercation. The rapper was charged with two counts of felony ass*ult with a semi-automatic fire*rm, but was acquitted back in February after a high-profile jury trial.

The source added that Rihanna, 37, “looks amazing and very happy,” and that Rocky has been “taking the best care of her.”  The couple has reportedly been reconnecting and enjoying family time since the legal ordeal ended, the source said:

“They had some time to decompress and just focus on family time.”
